When Richard Conrad Felkel Jr was born on 8 February 1948, in Holyoke Massachusetts, United States, his father, the late Richard Conrad Felkel, was 25 and his mother, Catherine Martina MacDonald, was 21. Richard died on 28 March 1993, at home in Easthampton, Massachusetts, United States, at the age of 45, and was buried in Brookside Cemetery, Easthampton, Massachusetts, United States.
Richard attended Holyoke schools and was a 1966 graduate of Holyoke High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Felkel had worked as a sales manager for A. Simcovitz Inc. in West Springfield for seven years. He had lived in Easthampton for the past thirteen years. He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Easthampton and a member of its Men’s Club.
Besides his mother, he leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Donna (Barrett) Felkel; a son Eric Felkel at home; a daughter, Amy Felkel at home; two sisters, Jean Smith of Needham and Patricia Felkel of New York, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 9:00 AM Wednesday at the Boucher Funeral Home in Easthampton, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
